POSITION SUMMARY:

SOFT COMPUTER CONSULTANTS is seeking an Administrative Support Associate to enhance our Project Management division. This entry-level role is crafted to provide opportunities for career growth. The Administrative Support Associate will deliver essential administrative support to the Director of PMO and/or VP of Strategic Projects on designated initiatives. This position is ideal for individuals aspiring to build a career in Project Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver administrative support to the Director of PMO and VP of Strategic Projects concerning PMO functions.
  • Take and disseminate meeting minutes. Collaborate with staff, clients, and senior management regarding departmental processes as directed by the Director of PMO.
  • Oversee the tracking of Education and Performance evaluations within the department.
  • Maintain attendance records.
  • Facilitate the distribution of Hours Reports.
  • Process Expense Reports, Comp Time, and other departmental documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, including WebEx and Meet Me sessions as requested by staff.
  • Arrange travel logistics for the Director and VP.
  • Perform basic clerical tasks such as answering phones, filing, copying, and managing departmental correspondence.
  • Serve as a backup for the Project Coordinator when necessary.
  • Adhere to all established procedures, directives, and guidelines.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

An Associate's Degree in a Healthcare-related field, Computer Science, or Business Management is preferred.

Experience:

Prior experience in an administrative capacity within a business setting is required. Experience in project management is advantageous but not mandatory.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, along with excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Capability to interpret and implement SCC strategies and planning at the departmental level.
  • Aptitude for working effectively under pressure.
  • Creative and fair problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly with the MS Office suite (especially Excel and Project).

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

No travel is required.
