POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you seeking to enhance your career in Project Management? The Project Coordinator at SOFT COMPUTER CONSULTANTS plays a crucial role in providing administrative support for projects under the guidance of the PMO Manager. This position is essential for ensuring the successful execution of projects in line with established methodologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow the established project management methodology throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop comprehensive project plans and deliverables.
  • Assist in creating the Project Charter with key stakeholders.
  • Support the formulation of the Statement of Work based on contractual agreements.
  • Help manage the Project Plan and deliverables, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
  • Maintain milestones, work breakdown structures, task trackers, and logs for risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the preparation of status reports, both written and verbal, as outlined in the project charter.
  • Facilitate project planning and review meetings, engaging with staff at all levels.
  • Offer suggestions for process improvements where applicable.
  • Coordinate meetings and follow up on issues that may impact the project's timeline.
  • Assist in the creation of Change Orders to document any project variances.
  • Research and coordinate travel arrangements as needed for project support.
  • Adhere to all approved procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education Required:

An Associate Degree in Business or a related field is required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Experience Required:

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional setting, with prior experience in managing calendars and travel arrangements, as well as composing and compiling documents, spreadsheets, and reports.

Skills Required:

  • Strong communication, planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and collaborative problem-solving abilities with a positive attitude.
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly with the MS Office suite and MS Project.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Physical Demands:
