We are seeking a Coordinator of Student Well-being to join our Residential Wellness team. This role is essential in our commitment to enhancing the holistic well-being of our residential students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) You will be an integral part of the Residential Wellness team, which focuses on cultivating intentional living communities that emphasize belonging, personal growth, compassion, and meaningful engagement.
2) You will report to a Managing Director in Residential Wellness and an Assistant Director in Wellness Services, in a full-time administrative professional capacity.
3) Your role will involve connecting students with resources and opportunities that empower them to actively engage in their well-being across various dimensions, including financial, social, physical, community, career, purpose, emotional, and mental health. You will also lead a diverse team of 15-25 student leaders who reside in the residence halls and facilitate well-being programs for their peers.
4) You will have opportunities for professional development and career advancement within the department and the broader organization.
5) The compensation package ranges from $44,000 to $46,000 with housing options or $50,000 to $52,000, including benefits such as health insurance, paid leave, retirement plans, tuition assistance, and various discounts.

We have redefined our model to ensure that our team can concentrate on fostering a supportive environment while collaborating with housing and facilities colleagues.

In this new framework, professional staff and student leaders are assigned to groups of students, rather than specific buildings.

These adjustments reflect a significant philosophical shift within our Residential Wellness initiative.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in developing and leading peer groups, as well as creating, facilitating, and assessing programs and training
  • A strong vision and creativity in program design and outreach
  • A collaborative mindset with adaptability and initiative
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Familiarity with public health theories and practices
  • Experience in campus-wide education/programming and strategic planning
  • Innovative in identifying and addressing the needs of underserved communities
  • Ability to effectively manage crises
  • Experience working with students in an educational environment
APPOINTMENT TYPE:
Regular

SALARY INFORMATION

 $44,000- $46,000 with housing options or $50,000-$52,000

WORK SCHEDULE

 Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with evening meetings and on-call responsibilities as needed.
