Counselor-Residential Well-being Program Coordinator

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team in the Commonwealth of Virginia. As an Embedded Counselor-Residential Well-being Program, you will play a critical role in supporting the mental health and well-being of students in our residential well-being program.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students, including initial assessment and treatment planning, crisis interventions, and after-hours on-call rotations.
- Develop and implement outreach and educational programs to promote mental health and well-being among students.
- Collaborate with residential well-being staff, faculty, and staff to provide comprehensive support services to students.
- Participate in regular supervision and training to ensure high-quality services and stay up-to-date on best practices in mental health.
- Work closely with the Director and RWB supervisor to ensure seamless integration of services and effective communication with students, staff, and faculty.
**Requirements**
- Masters degree in clinical or counseling psychology or social work.
- Eligibility for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Supervised experience in a mental health setting.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Interest and experience working with underrepresented students and international students.
- Experience working in a college counseling center.
- Experience working with Housing/Residence Life.
- Experience with outreach and educational programming.
- Experience providing group psychotherapy.
- Experience with managing crisis situations, completing risk assessments, and disposition planning to address safety risks.
