Job Overview

 We are seeking a Coordinator of Student Engagement to become a vital member of our team focused on enhancing the student experience. This role is essential in fostering meaningful connections among students, faculty, and staff within a dynamic educational environment. The Coordinator will actively engage with students, facilitating their involvement in various activities and programs designed to enrich their academic journey.

In our commitment to student development, this position will involve planning and executing a range of events, including social gatherings, educational workshops, and community service initiatives. The Coordinator will also provide mentorship and support to students, ensuring their well-being and success throughout their academic endeavors.

The Coordinator will work collaboratively with various departments to create a cohesive living-learning community that promotes intercultural understanding and personal growth.


Key Responsibilities

 1) Collaborate with faculty and staff to design and implement programs that enhance student engagement and learning experiences.

2) Serve as a mentor to students, providing guidance and support through individual meetings and group discussions.

3) Coordinate and facilitate community-building activities that connect students with local and regional opportunities.

4) Uphold and promote a positive community atmosphere by addressing student conduct matters in alignment with institutional policies.

5) Manage logistical aspects of events, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure successful program execution.

6) Maintain open lines of communication with students, faculty, and staff to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

 - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with experience in student support within a higher education context.

  • Proven dedication to student engagement and success.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and addressing their unique needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications

 - Master's degree in Higher Education or a related field with extensive experience in student affairs.

  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Experience with international education and study abroad programs.
  • Familiarity with student development theories and practices.
