About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the US Mining Market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and profitably growing our product portfolio in the Western US territory.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide single-point contact for Ruhrpumpen sales and customer support related to Minerals and Mining
  • Manage the Western US territory and lead strategic focus with regular interface for assigned accounts
  • Grow business in the Minerals and Mining sector
  • Maintain active communications with In-House personnel
  • Develop and maintain active relationships with buying influences
  • Identify and work with customers to understand and define individual needs
  • Responsible for territory/customer forecast, budgets, and cost control
  • Negotiate orders and manage customer/territory communications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles, selling pump products and services in the US
  • Availability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Commercial experience within the Minerals and Mining industry
  • Knowledge of general Mineral and Mining processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to develop and execute individual business plans
