The Assistant Front Desk Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Front Desk Manager at The Highlands. This position is responsible for enhancing the efficiency of Front Desk operations and stepping into the managerial role during the manager's absence. The individual will ensure that all team members deliver attentive, friendly, and efficient service to guests, thereby maximizing room revenue and occupancy rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate team performance to ensure compliance with resort standards and operational procedures.
  • Oversee and assist with the efficient check-in and check-out processes for guests.
  • Proactively address any issues related to guest accommodations and pricing.
  • Train team members to meet service expectations and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Resolve guest complaints in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Maintain the aesthetic appeal of the front office area.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within front desk operations is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with proficiency in handling payment transactions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience with point of sale systems and familiarity with Microsoft Office is necessary.
