The Highlands at Harbor Springs is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Front Desk Supervisor. In this capacity, you will be tasked with overseeing front office operations, addressing guest inquiries, and managing any issues related to reservations and room assignments. Key Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities are indicative of the role and are not exhaustive:

  • Supervise team members to ensure compliance with resort standards and operational procedures.
  • Facilitate prompt and courteous check-in and check-out processes for guests.
  • Address inquiries and resolve issues related to guest accommodations and rates.
  • Train team members to meet expectations and deliver outstanding guest service.
  • Handle guest complaints or issues in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Manage overtime effectively through proactive problem-solving.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of front office areas.
  • Ensure team members are prepared for work and in proper uniforms.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of resort services and community events.
  • Collaborate with other department managers for efficient operations.
  • Assist management with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • At least 1 year of experience in front desk or guest services.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience with point of sale software and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
