Job Overview

Position: Front Office Supervisor

Reports To: Front Office Manager

Department: Front Office
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary: Oversee and direct the activities of front desk personnel. Provide assistance to guests during their arrival and departure processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and resolve minor concerns to ensure a comfortable experience.
  • Execute human resource functions such as recruitment, training, and scheduling of staff.
  • Process guest registrations, manage billing questions, and address guest issues.
  • Aid in the development of the Front Office budget and compile necessary reports.
  • Handle accounting responsibilities and perform data entry tasks.
  • Supervise Front Desk, Reservations, Guest Services, and Switchboard functions.
  • Prepare daily and weekly management documentation.

Position Requirements: Requires specialized expertise and skills in a relevant field. Familiarity with Opera software is preferred.

Education and Experience: A high school diploma is mandatory, along with a minimum of one year of applicable experience.

Communication: Engage in daily verbal and written interactions, attend meetings, and facilitate group discussions.

Collaboration: Act as a team leader within the departmental work group.
