About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville. As a key member of our Front Office department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and leading a team of Front Desk staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Office Management: Manage the Front Office department, including interviewing, training, and scheduling staff, as well as overseeing other departments such as Guest Services, Concierge, and Communications.
  • Guest Arrivals and Departures: Coordinate arrivals, departures, and billing requirements with the Sales and Catering Department, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
  • Financial Management: Ensure all financial and credit procedures are followed, including following up on credit problems and reviewing daily transactions.
  • Guest Safety and Satisfaction: Take action in all matters related to guest safety, security, satisfaction, and well-being, responding swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, handle guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, and respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Check guests in and out efficiently, issue correct keys, and settle bills accurately through credit card or cash transactions.
  • Technology and Systems: Utilize various computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports, and select and block rooms for arriving guests.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in hotel rooms operations, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of property management systems required, Opera knowledge preferred. Strong business and work ethic required, with above-average communication skills and the ability to establish rapport quickly and positively.
  • Education: A degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
