Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering insightful reporting and analysis on operational expenditures and workforce metrics in relation to forecasts and budgets. This prominent position will directly support the Finance department and senior leadership. The selected individual will engage in budget creation, forecasting, and process enhancement, as well as contribute to reporting and reviews alongside senior finance and business executives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and disseminate standardized monthly financial reports, collaborating with senior business and finance leaders to provide insights on past and projected business performance.
  • Enhance and refine financial reporting processes, identifying and implementing improvements that boost the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.
  • Facilitate the finance rhythm of the business, including monthly reporting, rolling forecasts, and the annual budgeting/planning cycle, ensuring alignment with Corporate FP&A schedules.
  • Work collaboratively with key departmental leaders, HR and staffing partners, as well as cross-functional finance and operational teams.
  • Evaluate results to assess performance against plans and forecasts. Identify trends that may indicate issues or opportunities, and proactively highlight business challenges and risks while driving operational improvements.
  • Present findings to management and the executive team for consideration by the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses as required.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Proven experience in managing operational expenses and budgets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas, complemented by the ability to create compelling visual representations of data.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to interpret data and draw relevant conclusions and recommendations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with comfort in presenting to and engaging with C-level executives.
  • Self-motivated individual with a desire to learn and develop within a team setting.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills across teams and functions.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working with diverse, unstructured data.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a strategic mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the enterprise software sector or management consulting.
  • Master's degree in Finance or Business.
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP, Essbase, Smart View, OBIEE, APEX.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
Travel Requirements:

Minimal travel, less than 5%.
