Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will take charge of generating insightful reports and conducting thorough analyses of operating costs and workforce metrics in relation to financial forecasts and budgets. This pivotal role will directly support the Finance department and upper management, focusing on the creation of budgets and forecasts while enhancing processes, reporting, and reviews with senior finance and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce and circulate standardized monthly financial reports, engaging with senior business and finance leaders to provide context on both historical and projected business performance.
  • Optimize and refine financial reporting processes, identifying and implementing enhancements that improve the accuracy and timeliness of our overall financial reporting.
  • Facilitate the finance cadence for monthly reporting, rolling forecasts, and the annual budgeting/planning cycle, ensuring alignment with Corporate FP&A timelines.
  • Collaborate with key departmental leaders, HR and staffing partners, as well as cross-functional finance and operational teams.
  • Examine results to gauge performance against plans and forecasts, identifying trends that signal issues or opportunities. Highlight business challenges and risks, driving necessary changes to enhance operations. Proactively address questions and recommend corrective actions based on financial insights.
  • Deliver analysis to management and the executive team for use by the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis as required.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Proven experience in managing operating expenses and budgets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas, complemented by strong visual storytelling skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks with high accuracy and minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable conclusions and recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting to and engaging with C-level executives.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow within a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in collaborating across teams and functions.
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity and working with unstructured, disparate data.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a strategic mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the enterprise software industry or management consulting.
  • Master's degree in Finance or Business.
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP, Essbase, Smart View, OBIEE, APEX.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
Travel Requirements: < 5%
