As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will engage in coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the software development lifecycle. Your technical responsibilities will encompass the design and development of innovative software products, ensuring excellence at every stage of the product lifecycle.


About Our Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) Division:
The MST business area specializes in delivering cost-effective, comprehensive command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection, and security solutions on a global scale.

The MST team boasts a rich history of supporting various government agencies, including the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security, as well as commercial and international clients. Our extensive experience covers platform operations, engineering, and full lifecycle management across multiple domains—air, land, sea, space, and cyber.


Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering or a related field, with typically 6 or more years of relevant experience.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Proven experience in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
- Familiarity with requirements management, functional requirements analysis, systems design, integration, technical risk management, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with requirements management and system modeling tools, such as DOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, or MATLAB.
- Knowledge of industry-standard mechanical design principles, including Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
- Certification or experience with INCOSE standards.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense sector.
- Ability to manage baseline definition and maturation in complex development environments, including conducting impactful trade studies.
- Experience in establishing and monitoring key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM).

Important Notice:
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is necessary for this role due to the requirement for an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible for security clearance.

The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF) oversees the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Factors affecting eligibility include allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, criminal conduct, security violations, and illegal drug use.
