Job Overview

HOJ Innovations, Inc. is a prominent player in the material handling sector, actively seeking exceptional individuals for the role of Customer Service Representative. This position is crucial for fostering and sustaining customer connections, promoting material handling solutions, and facilitating service agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing client accounts through direct visits or phone communications.
  • Advocate for and sell Planned Maintenance (PM) contracts for a diverse range of industrial and warehouse machinery.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for customers, addressing all product support inquiries by collaborating with service managers, technicians, and parts personnel.
  • Provide detailed quotes for service agreements related to various industrial equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding operational safety and maintenance schedules.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues related to orders and warranty claims.
  • Follow up with clients post-service to enhance satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Generate leads for potential service or equipment upgrades.
  • Promote service features and product benefits, prepare sales orders, and quote pricing and credit terms.
  • Monitor equipment orders for potential maintenance and aftermarket sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams, operations managers, and service technicians on PM-related inquiries.
  • Submit weekly reports detailing customer interactions, quotes, orders, and any challenges faced in customer/vendor relationships.
  • Assist in managing overdue PMs and problem accounts.
  • Consult and devise solutions to strengthen the company's position within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Implement strategic sales initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Support warranty processes by submitting, tracking, and resolving claims to meet both customer and company needs.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in industrial equipment sales is preferred.
  • Proven track record in industrial sales or customer service roles.

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate equipment for demonstration purposes.
  • Capable of managing various situations encountered during the sales process.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of material handling equipment and the ability to identify parts visually.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards in customer service, including effective handling of issues and complaints.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships that reflect company values.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • U.S. Work Authorization required.
  • Must pass background checks and random drug screenings.

This role is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Salary is commensurate with experience.
