Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining key existing accounts through direct customer engagement.
- Promote and sell Planned Maintenance contracts for a range of industrial and warehouse equipment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding product support, collaborating closely with service managers and technicians.
- Provide accurate quotes for service agreements across various equipment types, including forklifts and automated systems.
- Address customer inquiries related to operational safety and maintenance schedules.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues concerning orders and warranty claims.
- Follow up with clients post-service to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Generate leads for service enhancements or equipment upgrades.
- Communicate product features and pricing to customers, preparing sales orders as needed.
- Monitor equipment orders for potential service opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams on pricing and service inquiries.
- Submit regular reports detailing customer interactions and sales activities.
- Assist in managing overdue maintenance accounts and problem-solving to improve customer relations.
- Implement strategic sales initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
- Support warranty processes by tracking and resolving claims efficiently.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in industrial equipment sales preferred.
- Proven skills in customer service and sales.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Capability to operate equipment for demonstration purposes.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of material handling equipment.
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
- Commitment to high standards of customer service.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- U.S. Work Authorization required.
