As a Client Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in advancing CorTrust's mission and business goals by delivering an outstanding insurance experience to new, prospective, and existing clients. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients to offer risk-based solutions tailored to their insurance needs in a timely, effective, and suitable manner. This position involves direct interaction with clients to address inquiries, resolve issues, provide education, enroll, and renew policies, as well as assist health and life insurance agents in customer development and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Assist in resolving any questions or issues that may arise.
  • Process system data accurately and manage document retention efficiently.
  • Comply with all company and insurer policies and procedures.
  • Exhibit reliability and adaptability, responding promptly to support requests.
  • Positively and efficiently handle additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of health and life insurance products.
  • Execute all responsibilities with a general awareness of regulatory, transactional, reputational, and cybersecurity risks associated with the business.

  • Possess a combination of education and experience that equips you to fulfill the primary duties and responsibilities of the role.
  • Adapt readily to changes in systems, processes, products, and services.
  • Exhibit strong reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, personal diplomacy, and respect for others.
  • Understand and adhere to the Bank's policies and procedures.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain valid South Dakota health and life insurance licenses issued by the South Dakota Division of Insurance.
  • Previous insurance experience is preferred but not mandatory based on other relevant business experience.
