Role Overview:
As a Client Relations Specialist at Patterson, you will play a vital role in supporting primarily cattle, equine, and swine production clients, as well as sales representatives, with order processing executed with professionalism and efficiency.

This position requires in-person engagement during standard business hours.


Customer Engagement:
Build and maintain strong working relationships across various business functions, as well as with clients and manufacturing partners.

Deliver exceptional customer service and sales support; promptly address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions.

Relay any relevant information from clients to the appropriate sales representatives or management.
Identify client needs and expectations to recommend tailored products and solutions.
The Client Relations Specialist may undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Outbound communication with existing clients may also be required to identify and propose additional products and services.


Administrative Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate processing of customer transactions within the order entry system, including orders, quotes, and returns.
Maintain precise records of customer interactions and territory details.
Generate reports as needed.
Monitor scheduled shipment dates to guarantee timely delivery.
Adhere to regulatory guidelines in compliance with company, state, and federal policies.
Understand and follow Accounts Receivables policies and practices.
Verify pricing and terms according to established procedures and customer profitability profiles.
Effectively multitask across various computer systems and communication platforms.
Stay informed about company products, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven customer service and organizational abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- General proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office

Preferred:
- Associate's Degree in a veterinary-related field or equivalent experience
- Background in agriculture with experience in production animal husbandry is advantageous
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
