Join Patterson Company LLC as a Client Relations Specialist

In the role of Client Relations Specialist, you will be tasked with supporting primarily cattle, equine, and swine production clients, as well as sales representatives, ensuring order processing is handled with professionalism and efficiency.

This position requires in-person attendance during standard business hours.

Customer Engagement:

  • Foster robust working relationships across various business functions, as well as with clients and manufacturing partners.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and sales assistance; promptly address customer inquiries, provide answers, and resolve issues.
  • Relay any relevant information received from clients to the appropriate sales representative or management.
  • Ascertain customer needs and expectations to recommend tailored products and solutions.
  • The Client Relations Specialist may undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • May also conduct outbound calls to existing clients to identify and propose additional products, enhancing sales and services.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and verify customer transactions within the order entry system, including orders, quotes, and returns.
  • Maintain precise records of customers and territories, as well as document all client interactions.
  • Generate necessary reports.
  • Monitor scheduled shipment timelines to ensure prompt delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines in accordance with company, state, and federal policies.
  • Understand and adhere to Accounts Receivables policies and practices.
  • Confirm pricing and terms in line with standard procedures and customer profitability profiles.
  • Manage multiple tasks and operate within various computer systems and communication platforms simultaneously.
  • Stay informed about company products, policies, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in customer service and strong organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • General proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in a veterinary-related field or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Background in agriculture with experience in production animal husbandry is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
