Heiman Fire Equipment is on the lookout for a dedicated Client Relations and Sales Support Specialist. This role is essential in delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients, as well as supporting the Heiman sales team through various communication channels including phone, email, and live chat.


Key Responsibilities:


Client Relations/Sales Assistance: Provide comprehensive customer service by managing incoming inquiries, processing orders, generating and entering quotes, submitting purchase orders, and liaising with vendors to meet client requirements.

Handle customer concerns and requests professionally, always considering the best interests of both the client and the organization.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's offerings, policies, and customer service standards.
Utilize Sage 100 for product part number lookups, pricing inquiries, inventory checks, customer account management, and reporting.
Support external sales team members as needed.
Website Assistance: Manage online orders, create purchase orders, establish part numbers, and ensure accurate website pricing.
Respond to live chat inquiries and assist customers with their questions.
Verify the accuracy of purchase orders and input tracking information for online transactions.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
3-5 years of related experience is advantageous.
Must be a self-motivated individual with strong time management and organizational abilities.
Excellent communication skills, encompassing verbal, written, and listening capabilities, are essential.

A collaborative team player who works effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, providing insights when necessary and demonstrating flexibility when objectives or outcomes vary.

Detail-oriented with a professional demeanor and reliability.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and standard office equipment; strong Excel skills are preferred.
Experience with SalesForce is a plus.
