Full time Shift: Description: Reporting to the Director of Emergency Services, this role is responsible for the oversight, leadership, and strategic direction of the stroke program at Trinity Health.

The individual will serve as a clinical expert and leader in program development, showcasing proficiency in change management, system enhancements, and patient care improvements.

This position requires collaboration with all healthcare team members, acting as a catalyst for change by establishing evidence-based practice standards, aiding in the execution of these practices, facilitating goal-setting, and assessing outcomes for stroke patients.

The role also involves ensuring that all stroke patients receive thorough and prompt treatment interventions that align with best practice guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain The Joint Commission (TJC) advanced certification as a Primary Stroke Center (PSC).
  2. Possess a current Registered Nurse license in the State of California.
  3. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is mandatory; a Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred.
  4. Hold a current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card.
  5. Have a minimum of five (5) years of recent acute care clinical experience; experience in neuroscience nursing is advantageous.
  6. Demonstrate the ability to translate clinical guidelines and research findings into practice.
  7. Effectively identify, assess, and resolve conflicts, adjusting project scope as necessary.
  8. Exhibit advanced interpersonal skills to communicate complex clinical and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  9. Utilize advanced analytical skills to formulate sound recommendations and assist in enhancing care delivery systems, policies, and procedures.
  10. Possess strong time management skills along with effective oral and written communication abilities.
  11. Previous experience in program development and management is preferred.

Pay Range: $70.02
