Job Summary

The Department of Social Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensing Program Manager I to join our team. As a key member of our licensing program, you will be responsible for monitoring and supervising the activities of a unit of licensing program analysts, performing quality assurance reviews, planning and conducting individual and group training, reviewing complaint investigations, providing technical and supervisory direction in the office and the field, and reviewing monthly intake and production reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and supervise the activities of a unit of licensing program analysts.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
  • Plan and conduct individual and group training to enhance the skills and knowledge of licensing program analysts.
  • Review complaint investigations to ensure that they are thorough and accurate.
  • Provide technical and supervisory direction to licensing program analysts in the office and the field.
  • Review monthly intake and production reports to ensure that they are accurate and complete.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, public administration, or business administration.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a licensing or regulatory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

This is an office-centered position, but occasional telework may be permitted. The use of a computer for several hours a day involves sitting most of the time, but may include walking or standing for brief periods. Attend meetings, workshops, and training associated with job duties. Work hours and schedules may vary.
