Position Overview

Sandestin Investments LLC, situated in the picturesque Gulf Coast of Florida, merges opulence with recreation across a sprawling 2,400 acres. Featuring four exceptional golf courses, stunning beaches, and the delightful Village of Baytowne Wharf, it presents a variety of accommodations and activities for all guests.

Role Summary:

The Mixologist at the Marina Bar & Grill is responsible for crafting beverages to customer specifications and delivering them directly or through service staff. Beyond drink preparation, this role includes overseeing bar inventory and replenishing supplies as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process orders from patrons or service staff.
  • Combine ingredients such as spirits, mixers, and garnishes to create cocktails and other beverages.
  • Offer a selection of wines and both draft and bottled beers.
  • Handle financial transactions for beverages served.
  • Manage inventory and order additional liquors and supplies as needed.
  • Organize bottles and glassware for an appealing presentation.
  • Prepare fruit garnishes for drinks.
  • Serve food items as requested by guests.
  • Restock bar snacks such as chips and pretzels.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable beverage laws.
  • Promote additional drink options to customers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Ability to read and write for effective communication.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of applying common sense to follow instructions in various formats and to address problems with concrete variables.

Physical Requirements:

  • Majority of tasks performed outdoors in a natural setting.
  • Ability to stand and maintain mobility for extended periods.
  • Capability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch as required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to lift items as necessary.
  • Requires manual dexterity for operating equipment.
  • Continuous communication with guests and staff.
  • Vision requirements include near vision and depth perception.
