Role Summary: We are in search of a motivated and knowledgeable Lead Beverage Sales Associate to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring customers receive unparalleled service while exploring our diverse range of products. You will be tasked with assisting patrons, overseeing store presentation, and managing stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist customers with a friendly demeanor.
  • Offer expert recommendations on wines, spirits, and other merchandise.
  • Accurately process sales transactions through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including merchandising and restocking.
  • Oversee inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock audits.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal regulations and store policies regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Independently manage store operations during assigned shifts, upholding security and operational standards.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to sell alcoholic beverages.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in retail or hospitality is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in retail or customer service, ideally in a liquor or boutique setting.
  • Strong enthusiasm and knowledge of wines, spirits, and beverages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
  • Capacity to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving reaching, bending, and repetitive motions.
  • Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling small items.
