Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at Toledo Clinic. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Check-in and Registration: Greet patients, check them in, and update their demographic and insurance information in our electronic medical record system.
  2. Front Desk Operations: Direct patients to the appropriate departments, answer phone calls, and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  3. Administrative Support: Scan documents, collect copays and outstanding balances, and post patient payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  4. Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with our medical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a medical office or receptionist role preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to type, and familiarity with computer systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Professionalism, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
