Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service to patients, medical staff, and the public, ensuring a positive experience and building trust in our organization.
  • Address issues promptly with a problem-solving mindset, resolving conflicts and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct registration and insurance verification accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating smooth billing processes.
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality by maintaining the integrity of patient records and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Maintain patient flow and promptly escalate any concerns to the Supervisor, ensuring seamless operations and optimal patient care.
  • Handle incoming calls professionally and courteously, providing clear and concise information to patients and stakeholders.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in patient registration/healthcare preferred but not mandatory; familiarity with medical terminology also a plus.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving, basic computer skills, 45 WPM typing, and excellent communication skills essential for success in this role.
