About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assessment Specialist to join our team at Better Morning, Inc. as a Mental Health Clinician. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing clinical administration support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the appropriateness of treatment modalities and coordinate care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide clinical administration support, including documentation and data entry.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to ensure ongoing professional development.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Masters in Mental Health, Social Work, or a related field, and a license to practice in the District of Columbia.
  • Experience in community mental health is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document client interactions and treatment plans effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
