Position: Registered Nurse - Echocardiogram
Location: Specialist Office
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is preferred.
If holding an associate degree in nursing, enrollment in a BSN program within 6 months of hire is mandatory, with completion required within 3 years.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 Years as a Registered Nurse with a BSN
Experience in Cardiac, Intermediate Care, or Intensive Care Units is essential.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the relevant state or jurisdiction is required.
Certifications:
Current CPR certification is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Gather and assess critical patient information related to physical, psychological, socio-cultural, economic, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, utilizing available technology effectively.
2. Provide autonomous, relationship-based care that ensures continuous, efficient, and accountable nursing delivery, with a strong emphasis on enhancing patient experience.
3. Identify and analyze complex patient issues, monitor trends and changes in patient conditions, and develop suitable interventions.
4. Integrate evidence-based practices and research into patient care, prioritizing quality and safety.
5. Act as a patient advocate by promptly communicating clinical concerns, including ethical considerations, to the interdisciplinary team.
6. Adhere to the legal standards of the nursing practice act while demonstrating a solid understanding of universal ethical principles, seeking additional resources for advocacy when necessary.
7. Customize patient care plans, focusing on both short-term and long-term objectives, and utilize diverse educational resources to address the learning needs of patients and their families.
