Job Overview

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Product Support Specialist to assist our Lab division. This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring in-office attendance on select weekdays. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive knowledge and assistance to various internal product and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Support team to ensure all incoming customer and sales inquiries are addressed and either resolved or directed to the appropriate department.
  • Tackle intermediate to complex issues, while working alongside senior team members for more intricate challenges.
  • Identify and communicate training gaps to the Product Manager or Senior Product Support Specialist. Assess product offering deficiencies and coordinate with relevant product managers to establish new vendors and items.
  • Conduct thorough cross-referencing and research of external brands to pinpoint corresponding Medline products.
  • Document and report product-related issues and concerns.
  • Identify deficiencies and collaborate with the relevant Product Manager or Senior Product Support Specialist to discuss the establishment of new vendors and items.
  • Focus on website updates by writing and updating product attributes.
  • Manage data in the master data file, including uploading, deleting, or modifying information as necessary.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Relevant Work Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or healthcare.

Additional Skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as SUM, formatting, chart creation, text wrapping, sorting, and print scaling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Relevant Work Experience

  • Prior experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
