Job Overview

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Product Support Specialist to join our Lab division. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring in-office attendance on select days. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive knowledge and assistance to various internal product and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Support team to ensure that all incoming customer and sales inquiries are assessed and addressed or forwarded to the appropriate department.
  • Tackle intermediate to complex issues, working alongside senior staff for resolution of more intricate problems.
  • Identify and communicate training gaps to the Product Manager or Senior Product Support Specialist. Evaluate product offerings and collaborate with the relevant product manager to onboard new vendors and items.
  • Conduct thorough cross-referencing and research of external brands to identify corresponding Medline products.
  • Document and report product-related issues and concerns.
  • Coordinate with the relevant Product Manager or Senior Product Support Specialist to address deficiencies and discuss the onboarding of new vendors and items.
  • Focus on web updates, including writing and updating product attributes.
  • Manage data in the master data file, including uploading, editing, or deleting as necessary.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Relevant Work Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or healthcare is preferred.

Additional Skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including skills such as using the SUM function, setting borders, adjusting column widths, inserting charts, and managing print settings.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Relevant Work Experience

  • Prior experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
