Senior Business Development Manager

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Business Development leader to drive the development of new financial services and fintech partnerships that support the growth of Amazon Lending products. As a key member of the Amazon Lending team, this individual will be responsible for building and managing strategic partnerships with financial institutions and fintech providers to create and launch new lending solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage strategic planning, negotiation, and new partnership development with top financial institutions and fintech providers.
- Ensure best-in-class deal management, from gaining internal strategic alignment and RFP development to key milestone management and KPI/P&L alignment with financial services partners.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure Amazon's customer, brand, and internal objectives are aligned to the deal strategy.
- Navigate and provide subject matter expertise on financial institutions, card networks, and fintech provider landscape and market trends to execute deals supporting our growth.
- 8+ years of business or partnership development experience and at least 4 years of payments or financial services experience.
- Experience executing lending product-related partnerships to build and launch new financial services products.
- Strong executive presence, with the proven ability to influence senior leaders internally and externally.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to distill complex, ambiguous information with clear, analytical frameworks to drive decisions that consider long-term benefits and near-term results.
