Senior Business Development Manager

Join our team at Vantage Point Consulting Inc. as a Senior Business Development Manager, where you will play a key role in driving business growth and development across our U.S. litigation practice.
Job Summary:The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and business development strategies for our Litigation & Investigations and Regulatory practices. This role requires a strong ability to work effectively across borders, prioritize multiple projects, and drive forward business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with attorneys to develop and implement marketing and business development strategies for each partner and their practices.
- Work closely with attorneys and the central pitch team to create competitive proposals, credentials, pitches, and presentations for U.S. practices and the global network.
- Coordinate existing projects and develop new opportunities leveraging the international partner and business development network.
- Lead proactive market research on existing and prospective clients, providing advice on effective marketing strategies.
- Manage junior team members in developing high-level summaries for partners.
- Arrange and chair meetings with practice groups to review progress on marketing projects and key client targeting.
- Work with the PR team to identify opportunities and maintain effective press coverage.
- Identify and coordinate firm sponsorships of conferences, plan client events and seminars.
- Maintain records in the global database of Litigation and Regulatory proposals and matters.
- Mentor and collaborate with junior team members, manage work allocation, support long-term goals, and facilitate performance appraisals.
- Culturally astute with a strong ability to work effectively across borders.
- Experience in a complex organization, preferably a significant law firm or large professional services environment.
- Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and drive forward multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- 8 to 10 years of professional services experience in the Litigation space.
- Tenacious, proactive, and results-driven.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree required.
