Luxury Brand Procurement Manager

Cling is seeking a new member for the buying team at Alrossa, a premier online luxury retailer and digital marketing firm representing over 350 high-end brands. The Merchandise Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging with exceptional brands, as well as effectively onboarding and nurturing these relationships. Our focus is exclusively on niche and high-luxury brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify promising brands by analyzing market trends, social media engagement, Amazon metrics, and advantageous pricing structures. Possess a comprehensive understanding of the services and platforms offered by Alrossa, and confidently articulate and validate our value proposition.
  • Efficiently onboard new brands by selecting lucrative products and managing the meticulous setup of product listings and brand representation on Alrossa.
  • Coordinate and manage successful marketing campaigns for each brand under your purview. Collaborate closely with both new and existing brands to develop robust ongoing brand strategies and maintain positive relationships.
  • Establish strong connections with clients by becoming well-versed in their businesses. Excel in building close relationships and maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Ensure that monthly targets and financial objectives are achieved, and that brand strategies are effectively executed.
  • Collaborate with planning teams to place regular orders, making necessary adjustments. Recommend modifications to reorder strategies, pricing models, and markdowns.
  • Seize opportunities to attend trade shows and visit showrooms to forge connections with both new and existing brands.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in buying or procurement.
  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Proactive and intuitive team player with the ability to independently identify valuable brands and targets. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail. Possess strong analytical abilities and sound judgment. A proactive attitude with the capability to manage multiple projects effectively.
