As an Art Director, you will leverage your extensive experience in cultivating a luxury brand identity, crafting innovative strategies, and executing creative solutions that address branding and campaign challenges. Your role will encompass conceptualizing, designing, and implementing initiatives across both digital and print mediums. With your leadership skills and expertise, you will provide robust design guidance, motivate your team, and maintain a luxury-focused mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Possess 8+ years of professional experience in creative fields such as marketing, brand management, or related areas, specifically within the luxury sector.
- Lead and inspire an internal creative team to deliver high-quality projects with excellence and efficiency.
- Create branded marketing materials and advertising assets for various regional and agent-focused initiatives.
- Design across diverse media platforms (print, digital, social, and video), ensuring a comprehensive approach from concept to execution.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Develop strategic advertising campaigns that align with business objectives.
- Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of content, collaborating with marketing leadership to enhance brokerage and agent performance in key markets.
- Manage and refine the brand style guide, ensuring consistency across all brand interactions.
- Engage hands-on in design tasks and project setups for team members.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to present creative concepts effectively.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail while managing creative workflows and projects.
- Possess a keen business acumen, understanding how to utilize creativity to achieve business outcomes.
- Bring a sophisticated design sensibility, striving to produce innovative and brand-enhancing work.
- Apply luxury aesthetics to design elements such as layout, typography, color, and identity.
CREATIVE DIRECTION:
- Guide and participate in the art direction of photoshoots and imagery selection, as well as oversee retouching processes.
- Direct and support the creation of both short and long-form video content to meet ongoing campaign requirements across various regions.
- Stay informed on industry trends, design innovations, and technological advancements.
- Excel in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects from inception to completion under varying timelines.
- Possess copywriting skills, with a strong eye for storyboarding and leading editing processes.
- Proficient in creative software such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Understand UX/UI design principles and be capable of designing for digital platforms.
- Familiarity with social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube/Vimeo, and TikTok.
- Knowledge of animation and video editing, particularly with After Effects, is advantageous.
ROLE SPECIFICS:
This position requires a hybrid work arrangement at Douglas Elliman's headquarters, focusing on:
- Leading the ideation, design, and presentation of creative work to senior management.
- Extensive experience in video and photography production, including pre and post-production oversight.
