SUMMARY:

As an Art Director, you will leverage your extensive experience in crafting luxury brands, driving creative strategies, and executing innovative solutions that address campaign and branding challenges. Your role will encompass conceptualizing, designing, and implementing strategies across both digital and print mediums. Your leadership will be crucial in providing clear design direction, inspiring your team, and maintaining a luxury-focused mindset. You will manage direct reports and serve as a key representative of the brand to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the business needs within the luxury sector.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in creative development, marketing, brand management, or a related field, with a proven track record in building luxury brands.
  • Lead and inspire an internal creative team to deliver high-quality creative projects efficiently.
  • Develop branded marketing and advertising materials for various regional and agent initiatives.
  • Design across multiple media platforms (print, digital, social, and video), demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of 360-degree project oversight from concept to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create strategic advertising campaigns that align with business objectives.
  • Ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of content, collaborating with marketing leadership to enhance brokerage and agent business in key regions.
  • Manage and update the brand style guide, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints.
  • Engage in hands-on execution of design tasks and project setups for team members.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present creative concepts effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail in managing creative projects and workflows.
  • Possess a keen business acumen, understanding how to leverage creativity to achieve business outcomes.
  • Bring a refined design sensibility, committed to producing elevated, brand-enhancing, and innovative work.
  • Apply a luxury aesthetic to layout, typography, color, and brand identity.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Guide and participate in the art direction of photoshoots and imagery selection, as well as oversee retouching processes.
  • Direct and assist in the creation of both short and long-form video content to support ongoing campaign needs across various regions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, design innovations, and technological advancements.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects from concept to completion under varying deadlines.
  • Possess copywriting skills, a strong eye for storyboarding, and experience leading editors.
  • Proficient in design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Understand UX/UI design principles and apply them to digital interfaces and websites.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube/Vimeo, and TikTok.
  • Knowledge of animation and video production, particularly with After Effects, is a plus.

ROLE SPECIFICS:

This position requires a hybrid work model, allowing for both in-office and remote work flexibility. You will spearhead the ideation, design, and presentation of creative concepts to senior management. Your extensive experience in video and photography production will be essential, as will your ability to oversee internal deadlines and vendor relationships, maintaining a streamlined creative calendar. You will also be responsible for nurturing the development of your creative team while focusing on their long-term growth.
