Job Description

Job Summary:

Expansion Capital Group is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with small business owners and entrepreneurs, providing them with customized capital solutions to meet their business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with small business owners and entrepreneurs in various industries.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored capital solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with senior underwriters to facilitate the funding process and ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage multiple accounts in various stages of the sales cycle, ensuring timely follow-up and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to provide informed solutions to clients.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success and achievement of sales goals.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to build rapport with business owners quickly and professionally.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address client needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
