Job Summary

As a Sales Representative for Animal Health International, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through strategic sales calls, while delivering exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Provide product and technical information to customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless sales processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Customer Service

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Administrative

  • Manage customer transactions, including orders, quotes, and returns.
  • Maintain accurate customer and territory records, documenting all customer interactions and sales opportunities.
  • Run sales reports to analyze sales activity and identify trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Animal Science, or related field.
  • Exceptional customer service and sales skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other sales-related software.
