Join our dynamic team at ECWI Hospitality, where we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service in a vibrant environment. We are currently seeking a meticulous and organized Lead Room Attendant to oversee housekeeping operations and ensure our guests enjoy a pristine experience.

Position Summary: The Lead Room Attendant will take charge in the absence of the Supervisor, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are performed to the highest standards.

Compensation: This is a part-time position with a competitive pay rate of $17 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and distribute daily cleaning schedules and checklists.
  • Allocate keys to housekeeping staff and manage their return at the end of shifts.
  • Monitor special events and important dates to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Review reports and disseminate information as necessary.
  • Conduct inspections of guest rooms to uphold brand standards.
  • Provide coaching and support to team members regarding performance and cleanliness.
  • Facilitate communication with the front desk, coworkers, and guests throughout the shift.
  • Engage in special projects as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Manage inventory and supplies efficiently.
  • Assist with scheduling as required.
  • Deliver items to the front desk when necessary.
  • Ensure that rooms are vacant and ready for incoming guests.
  • Coordinate with engineering and front desk for maintenance requests.
  • Perform comprehensive cleaning duties, including trash removal, linen management, surface cleaning, and bathroom sanitation.
  • Inspect all areas post-cleaning to ensure thoroughness.
  • Maintain and organize the housekeeping cart according to safety and security protocols.
  • Receive and manage assigned sections, keys, and supplies.
  • Address guest requests and report any issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Document and report any lost items or maintenance issues.
  • Fill in for absent staff as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • Ability to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable and flexible with scheduling.
  • Prior experience as a Room Attendant for at least one year.
  • Physical capability to manage cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and reach to complete cleaning tasks.
  • Consistent standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Vision acuity to assess cleanliness and adherence to standards.

The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to work weekends and daytime shifts, collaborating closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
