Job Summary

Cambridge Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Care Assistant to join our team. As a Clinical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and services to our residents, promoting a person-centered care environment that recognizes quality of life and emotional health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to residents, adhering to community policies and procedures.
  • Review tasks before performing cares to ensure updated cares are being completed.
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's), including bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, shaving, nail care, hair care, eating, making bed, laundry, ambulating, and helping with activities and other functions.
  • Report unusual symptoms and resident concerns to supervisors immediately.
  • Maintain daily records by documenting tasks completed in the resident electronic medical record and notifying the Clinical Care Team of any changes.
  • Monitor the Clinical Care Call System for emergency calls and respond appropriately.
  • Assist all community staff, as needed, if own tasks are completed.
  • Provide effective and courteous service to all residents, guests, and co-workers.
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians and document medications administered on MAR.
  • Sign in medication deliveries by the pharmacy.
  • Assist fellow team members in maintaining a clean, homelike environment that is free from hazards by tidying up spaces, cleaning up after residents, and ensuring that they always look presentable.
  • Obtain resident vitals.
  • Inform Management Team Directors of unsafe conditions in the building and/or report any suspected or actual abuse/neglect immediately.
  • Complete daily cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Arrive for scheduled shifts on time.
  • Follow protocol for calling-in or trading shifts.
  • Complete shift-to-shift reporting at the beginning/end of shift with staff.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18+.
  • Must be responsible, reliable, and professional.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant preferred, but not required.
  • 1+ years' experience as Resident Aide, or similar position, in an assisted living or nursing facility preferred, but not required.
  • CBRF Registry, CPR/AED certified, and Alzheimer's/Dementia care experience preferred, but not required.
