The Front Desk Clerk serves as the initial point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing assistance to enhance their experience.

This part-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $16 per hour. The ideal candidate should be available to work 3pm-11pm on weekdays and weekends, demonstrating the ability to work independently throughout the entire shift.

Compensation:

$16 hourly

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Manage room reservations through various channels, addressing guest inquiries regarding accommodations, amenities, and hotel services.
  • Facilitate guest check-ins and check-outs in a friendly and efficient manner, adhering to hotel policies.
  • Accommodate special requests and handle room assignments effectively.
  • Engage with guests in a professional manner, addressing any concerns and resolving complaints as needed.
  • Process cancellations in accordance with hotel policies.
  • Uphold safety standards and maintain guest confidentiality.
  • Be readily available to assist guests, ensuring a visible presence at the front desk.
  • Follow company policies regarding conduct, including dress code and use of personal devices.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests via in-person interactions, email, and phone.
  • Manage lost and found items efficiently.
  • Keep the lobby and front areas clean and organized.
  • Maintain beverage stations throughout the shift.
  • Ensure accuracy in cash handling and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
  • Restock supplies as necessary and communicate with management regarding inventory levels.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Front Desk Supervisor or Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in customer service.
  • Proficiency in computer systems.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Previous front desk experience is advantageous.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is essential.
