Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for assigned patients.
  • Provide post-operative care and manage the discharge process for outpatients.
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
  • Procure necessary supplies, equipment, and medications for patient care.
  • Prepare and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
  • Administer medications and IV therapies as required.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to patients post-procedure to ensure quality care.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Acute care experience is preferred.
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License is necessary.
