Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN), your duties will include:
- Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery.
- Administering medications and performing treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Providing pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
- Educating patients and their families about treatment plans and care options.
- Facilitating discharge planning in coordination with the care team.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an acute care setting is preferred.
Education:
Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Licensure and Certifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or a Compact Nursing License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
