Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals across the United States. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and fostering customer relationships with precision CNC manufacturing companies, promoting the sale of Company products, and providing technical sales support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively visit customer facilities to review outstanding engineering and service-related problems, including strategic reviews of sales opportunities.
  • Build and foster strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth and revenue.
  • Promote the sale of Company products and provide technical sales support to customers.
  • Collaborate with Applications Engineers to assess equipment needs and develop strategic plans to accomplish yearly sales goals.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development of relevant products, preferably in machining and automation.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or a related technical field.
  • Semiannual visits to OEM stateside and international factories, as well as proactive visits to customer facilities to resolve complex engineering issues.
  • Able to thrive in structured and stable collaborative national or international organizations.
