Industrial Sales Specialist

DXP Enterprises is a leading professional distribution management company seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join its team. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for creating profitable sales by providing solutions to manufacturing companies and job shops within assigned geographic territories.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute sales events to increase awareness of products and services among new and existing customers.
- Work closely with the inside sales team or contract coordinator to manage customer accounts and provide exceptional service.
- Assist customers in selecting products, introduce new items, and ensure overall satisfaction.
- Collaborate with suppliers to promote new products and gather product tests and application opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers, and identify business opportunities to drive growth.
- Sell across multiple product platforms, including industrial, safety, and metalworking.
- Conduct regular check-ins with customers to ensure products are meeting their expectations.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of metalworking and CNC tooling.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines.
Benefits:
- An estimated salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 based on experience.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, 401(k), paid holidays, life, and disability insurance, and additional supplemental products.
