Construction Estimator
Location: Fully Onsite

Bluehawk Consulting is in search of a Construction Estimator to collaborate with our client, a leader in the aerospace sector. Your contributions will play a vital role in facilitating advancements in space exploration, ensuring that personnel, research, and products are safely transported into space.

Project Overview
The Construction Estimator will be responsible for developing comprehensive project schedules and management plans that align with program timelines, client requirements, resource availability, and anticipated delivery schedules.

This role entails overseeing construction project timelines across various programs. Additionally, you will provide essential information for Facilities Construction, Engineering, and the End-User to guarantee that completion dates are synchronized with equipment, tooling, and production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess construction requirements and formulate tactical schedules utilizing scheduling software (MS Project and Primavera P6). Manage the scope of work allocated to the program for effective oversight and execution.
  • In instances where schedule adjustments are needed, identify and evaluate potential solutions and bottlenecks through both forward and reverse scheduling techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with the Facilities Construction team to ascertain the needs and limitations of capital construction projects, including general suppliers and subcontractors. Schedule tasks accordingly.
  • Track project status and provide regular updates to management regarding upcoming priorities.
  • Maintain visual management boards with the latest job/program status.
  • Conduct schedule and scope variance analyses and review construction execution processes.
  • Address diverse challenges where data analysis necessitates careful evaluation and judgment.
  • Facilitate interdepartmental coordination with Program Management, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering to ensure that construction and client specifications are precise and project timelines are adhered to.
Required Skills & Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to work onsite full-time.
