About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Planning and Control Specialist to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our Space Systems team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining program plans for various spaceflight systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain program plans for spaceflight systems, including resource loading and schedule analysis.
  • Partner with technical leadership to support the development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules.
  • Analyze resource requirements and provide recommendations for schedule optimization.
  • Support change management initiatives and incorporate approved baseline changes into the schedule.
  • Lead reviews to gather status updates from stakeholders and maintain schedule health.
  • Provide program leadership with insight into status, schedule risk, and recommended risk mitigations.
  • Partner with Program Cost Analysts to maintain integrated cost and schedule plans.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Management.
  • Experience with integrated master schedules and resource loading using Primavera (P6), Open Plan, MS Project, or other software.
  • 5+ years of experience in program scheduling/planning and controls.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in technical work environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience establishing new program schedules.
  • Experience in aerospace research and development and manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with Deltek Acumen.
  • Experience in budgeting and cost analysis.
  • Expert user of Primavera P6.
