Job Summary

Americold is seeking a skilled Clerk to join their team. As a Clerk, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the office, including answering telephones, managing calendars, and arranging appointments. You will also be responsible for communicating with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions and provide information. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing and mailing bills, contracts, policies, invoices, and checks, as well as maintaining and updating filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer telephones and direct calls to the appropriate person or department
  • Manage calendars and arrange appointments for staff members
  • Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions and provide information
  • Complete and mail bills, contracts, policies, invoices, and checks
  • Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be proficient in using office software and equipment, such as photocopiers and scanners.
