Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development and Growth Manager to join our team at Safran Federal Systems. As a key member of our growth engine, you will be responsible for leading high-impact business development activities and identifying new opportunities within the DOD market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the DOD market
  • Lead proposal development and capture management efforts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop pricing strategies and close deals
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor offerings
  • Develop and maintain a robust library of content and graphics for use across the business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years' experience in proposal and capture management
  • U.S. Person status is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance within the first 6 months of employment
  • Significant experience with the Government solicitation process
  • Experience and aptitude in building processes where none exists
  • Technical writing experience
  • Ability to clearly articulate information and to listen and understand business needs
  • Comfort working with a diverse range of disciplines
  • Proven track record of successful proposal submissions in the defense industry
  • Independent judgment and analysis applied to resolution of contract issues
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
