Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development and Growth Manager to join our team at Safran Federal Systems. As a key member of our growth engine, you will be responsible for leading high-impact business development activities and identifying new opportunities within the DOD market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the DOD market
- Lead proposal development and capture management efforts
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop pricing strategies and close deals
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor offerings
- Develop and maintain a robust library of content and graphics for use across the business
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years' experience in proposal and capture management
- U.S. Person status is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance within the first 6 months of employment
- Significant experience with the Government solicitation process
- Experience and aptitude in building processes where none exists
- Technical writing experience
- Ability to clearly articulate information and to listen and understand business needs
- Comfort working with a diverse range of disciplines
- Proven track record of successful proposal submissions in the defense industry
- Independent judgment and analysis applied to resolution of contract issues
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
