Business Development Manager, NAVWAR

Safran Federal Systems provides Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (R-PNT) solutions and custom engineering services to U.S. Government agencies, defense organizations, and their contractors. We are authorized to work on the full spectrum of U.S. Government classified and unclassified projects, in addition to supporting strategic partnerships for key defense PNT technologies.
The Opportunity:
As a Business Development Manager, NAVWAR, you will be responsible for government pursuits involving Navigation Warfare, Electronic Warfare, PNT/GNSS Threat Simulation, and related technologies.
This Business Development Manager, NAVWAR is a critical team member who will enable sales growth by executing a variety of business functions in accordance with SFS' business objectives.Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities involving Navigation Warfare and related technologies, building and maintaining strong relationships with government agencies, defense contractors, and industry partners.
Monitor and assess Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs) relevant to SFS' capabilities, engaging with customers to understand future partnership opportunities associated with NAVWAR and Electronic Warfare.
Assist the Product Management team in identifying capabilities for integration into future product roadmaps, coordinating with internal technical teams to ensure that proposals meet customer requirements.
Research and communicate industry trends to identify potential sales opportunities, staying up-to-date on the latest developments in the field.
What You Bring to Safran Federal Systems:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering, or equivalent military/industry experience is required. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a Business Development role or related function is preferred.
Experience working with Electronic Warfare, GNSS, and/or Position, Navigation, Timing technologies is preferred. An active US Government security clearance is preferred, or the ability to obtain a US Government issued security clearance is required. Experience with the US Government solicitation process and familiarity with US Government compliance and export regulations are also preferred.-
