The Opportunity:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for government pursuits involving Navigation Warfare, Electronic Warfare, PNT/GNSS Threat Simulation, and related technologies. This role is critical to enabling sales growth by executing a variety of business functions in accordance with SFS' goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities involving Navigation Warfare and related technologies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, defense contractors, and industry partners.
  • Monitor and assess Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs) relevant to SFS' capabilities.
  • Engage with customers to understand future partnership opportunities associated with NAVWAR and Electronic Warfare.
  • Assist Product Management team in identifying capabilities for integration into future product roadmaps.
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure that proposals meet customer requirements.
  • Research and communicate industry trends to identify potential sales opportunities.
What You Bring to Safran Federal Systems:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering, or equivalent military/industry experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a Business Development role or related function.
  • US Defense industry experience preferred.
  • Experience working with Electronic Warfare, GNSS, and/or Position, Navigation, Timing technologies preferred.
  • Active US Government security clearance preferred, or ability to obtain a US Government issued security clearance.
  • Experience with US Government solicitation process.
  • Familiarity working with US Government compliance and export regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
