About the Role

As a Food Sales Territory Manager at US Foods, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing established and new customers to achieve sales and profitability goals.

This position involves fostering customer relationships, selling food and non-food items, and leveraging other resources to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts opening.

Main Responsibilities
  • Foster strong customer relationships through team-based selling models.
  • Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department, troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process.
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and clients.
  • Leverage other resources to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts opening.
  • Develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market intelligence databases, business directories, existing client leads, and attending trade shows and conferences.
What You'll Bring
  • At least one year of sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry or culinary/restaurant management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with customer service and presentation abilities.
  • A motor vehicle record in good standing.
  • Problem-solving ability and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $61,500 and $92,250, depending on experience and location. This role is also eligible for incentive pay.
